Active Dads Collective ("ADC", "we", "us") is a community platform for fathers who are active. Our website is activedadscollective.club.
When you connect with Strava, we receive your name, profile photo, city, country, and gender as provided by Strava. We also store any profile information you add directly — including your bio, kids' age ranges, training interests, and Instagram username if provided. We store your email address to send you notifications about connection requests and matches.
We use your data to match you with other dads, show your profile to potential matches, send you email notifications about connection requests and accepted connections, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
We use Strava OAuth for login and identity verification only. We store your Strava athlete ID, name, photo, and location as provided at the time of login. We do not continuously sync or store your Strava activity data.
Other ADC members can see your name, profile photo, bio, kids' age ranges, training interests, and location if you have enabled these in your privacy settings. Your email address is never shown to other members. You can control what is visible via the Privacy Settings on your profile page.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing us at team.averagerunning@gmail.com.
We use Supabase for data storage, Stream for private messaging, and Resend for email delivery. Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We use Vercel for hosting.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at team.averagerunning@gmail.com.
